§47-2-133.


§47-2-133.
   
   A. There is hereby established in the Department of Public Safety a
   Division to be known as the Psychological Services Division. The
   Commissioner of Public Safety is authorized to appoint a Director of
   Psychological Services and to employ such clerical, support personnel
   and interns on a full-time or part-time basis as may be necessary to
   perform the duties imposed upon the Division.
   
   B. The Director of Psychological Services shall possess a doctorate in
   psychology, shall be licensed by the State Board of Examiners of
   Psychologists and shall have not less than five (5) years' experience
   in law enforcement.
   
   C. Prior to the establishment of any psychology internship program,
   the Director of Psychological Services shall submit a plan for such
   program to the State Board of Examiners of Psychologists for approval.
   Such program shall meet all requirements of the rules and regulations
   of the Board.
