§47-605.

§47-605.

Before any brake fluid shall be bartered, sold, offered for sale,
exchanged in any transaction, or held with intent to sell within this
state, or be used in any motor vehicle licensed in this state, a
sample thereof must be inspected by the Fuel Inspection Division,
Corporation Commission of Oklahoma, and bear an official permit number
of said Corporation Commission. Upon the initial application of the
manufacturer, packer, or distributor and the payment of a fee of Fifty
Dollars ($50.00) for each brand of brake fluid submitted, the
Corporation Commission of Oklahoma shall inspect the brake fluid
submitted. If said brake fluid meets the standard specification of
S.A.E. 70-R-1, the Corporation Commission shall issue the applicant,
under an official permit number, an annual written permit authorizing
the sale of such brake fluid in the State of Oklahoma for one (1)
fiscal year, July 1st to June 30th, for which the inspection fee is
paid. On approval of an application for renewal of a permit, the fee
shall not exceed Thirty-five Dollars ($35.00) per annum. The original
permit and/or renewal issued by the Corporation Commission shall bear
the same number and shall not be transferable. If the Corporation
Commission shall at a later date find that the product to be bartered,
sold, offered for sale, exchanged in any transaction, or held with
intent to sell, has been materially altered without the written
permission of the Corporation Commission, or that the product is below
the minimum specification required by this Act, or that the product
has been adulterated, or a change has been made in the name, brand or
trademark under which the brake fluid is sold, or that it otherwise
violates the provisions of this Act, the Corporation Commission shall
notify the applicant and the permit shall be canceled forthwith.
