§43A-5-104.


§43A-5-104.
   
   Any physician who falsely certifies to the mental illness, alcohol
   dependency, or drug dependency of any person, or whose false
   certificates as to mental illness, alcohol dependency, or drug
   dependency of any person is proved to be the result of negligence or
   deficient professional skill, or who signs such a certificate for
   pecuniary reward, or promise thereof, or other consideration of value
   or operating to his advantage, other than the professional fee usually
   paid for such service, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon
   conviction thereof, shall be sentenced to pay a fine not to exceed One
   Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00), or to imprisonment in the county jail
   not to exceed one (1) year, or both such fine and imprisonment.
